To undertake and carry on the study of and research about life, activities and teachings of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
To collect and preserve all intelligence, documents and manuscripts, books, leaflets, periodicals, photographs and films, records and other objects and materials - relating to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. To establish and maintain libraries, museums reading rooms, laboratories and archives for the preservation, exhibition and study of all objects and materials collected by the Bureau and also for such other general and special purposes as the Bureau may deem fit.
To provide the facilities for students and scholars to research and study the life and work of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. To promote and encourage the study of and research about the history of India, her struggle for freedom, its leadership political institutions, international relations and allied subjects.
To collect and preserve all intelligence, documents, manuscripts, books, leaflets, periodicals, photographs, films, records and other objects and materials relating in general to the history of India and particularly to her struggle for freedom.
To establish, maintain and award (either on its own or in cooperation with other bodies or persons) scholarships and professorships for the study on the life and work of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and of related political and historical subjects.
To take steps for the dissemination of knowledge about the life, work and teachings of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and to arrange lectures, discussions, meetings and exhibitions either generally or dealing with the life and work of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. To print and publish books, periodicals or other publications dealing with the life and work of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose or with historical, political and allied subjects which the Bureau thinks desirable for the promotion of its objects.
To train up personnel for carrying out the objectives of the Bureau and to bear the necessary expenses for the purpose.
To cooperate and affiliate with other bodies and also to engage in such other forms of activities as may be decided upon by the Bureau from time to time for the purpose of carrying out all or any of its objectives.
